Post Secrets

 I love PostSecret and I think this postcard illustrates the way many gay kids have to live in the fishbowl that is high school .  They often hide behind religion -- it's a really good way to prove you don't believe in gay and therefore aren't 'suspect'.  But the question I have today is: what does it do to a kid's psyche when he embraces the organization that treats him like a second class citizen?  I'm not picking on the FCA in particular, but his/her membership in this club is not allowing this kid to be who he is.   Why does a kid have to be someone else to express faith?
